Alimental’s Facial Balancer is an herbal-infused combination oil cleanser and toner formulated to cool, smooth and soothe red, acne-prone or uneven skin.

Apple cider vinegar is a natural pH-reducer, supporting the skin’s protective acid mantle and preventing dryness and greasiness. Hibiscus is a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids and vitamin C, helping slough off dead skin cells, reduce discoloration and protect against environmental damage, and also contains demulcent mucilage that prevents over-drying and feeds healthy skin microflora. Jojoba oil has a consistency closest to skin sebum, making it light and easily absorbable without clogging pores. The essential oil combination of sandalwood, rose otto and bergamot is formulated to reduce redness and have a calming, anti-inflammatory effect topically and aromatically.

Ingredients: hibiscus infusion ( water, organic Hibiscus sabdariffa flower), wildcrafted horsetail (Equisetum arvense)-infused organic apple cider vinegar, organic apricot kernel (Prunus armeniaca) oil, jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) oil, rose (Rosa damascena) otto, organic bergaptene-free bergamot (Citrus bergamia) essential oil, sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) essential oil, non-GMO vitamin E oil.

Directions: shake well* and apply to the face with  a cotton round or cloth, avoiding the eye area.

Alimental’s Balancers are formulated to pH 5.5, the ideal pH of human skin, using the natural acidity of apple cider vinegar to provide the optimal environment for a healthy skin microbial balance. Apple cider vinegar also contains a prebiotic called pectin, which nourishes and strengthens good skin bacteria. 

The vinegar is infused with Equisetum arvense, which is called a vulnerary or wound-healer in herbal medicine. This ancient plant is rich in antioxidants and silica, a component of skin that improves elasticity and collagen formation. 

Each Balancer contains select natural carrier oils to moisturize and protect the skin, carrying antioxidants and other phytochemicals that can help to prevent environmental damage, strengthen collagen and reduce oil production and pore size.
