For red, inflamed or acne-prone skin, this serum contains anti-inflammatory, antibacterial essential oils of sandalwood, carrot seed, neroli, lavender and mandarin, which soothe and reduce acne and redness and smell spicy-sweet and flowery.

Ingredients: organic Aloe vera gel, vegetable glycerin, organic gotu kola (Centella asiatica), jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) oil, non-GMO vitamin E oil, neroli (Citrus aurantium) essential oil, organic lavender  (Lavendula angustifolia) essential oil, sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) essential oil, organic carrot seed (Daucus carota) essential oil.

This natural, hydrating serum is made with organic Aloe vera gel and organic, natural vegetable glycerin infused with Centella asiatica (commonly called mandukaparni in India or gotu kola in China), an Ayurvedic herb used for wound healing and as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant for thousands of years. Its triterpenes improve the function and integrity of the collagen matrix and increase blood supply to connective tissue, enhancing the skin’s cell turnover, scar healing, and elasticity. 

Aloe vera gel has an acidic pH to help maintain the skin’s protective acid mantle. It is cooling, astringent, and balancing for all three doshas, stimulates collagen synthesis, and inhibits free radicals, reducing inflammation. Aloe is also hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture and forms a hydrating barrier to protect against dryness, making your skin soft and smooth, but not oily.

Jojoba and vitamin E oils help carry and distribute the essential oils and provide antioxidants and light moisturization without clogging pores.
